Jan Wisniewski obtained this image of extragalactic globular cluster M54 on July 6, 1999 from Snooke, BC. He used a Cookbook 245 CCD camera on an Ultima 8 f/6.3 telescope, using "-IR" filter. This is a composite of 11 30-sec exposures, processed with Multi 245, AIP 245 and Photo Paint 8.

Martin Germano took this image of extragalactic globular cluster M54 in June, 2002 with his 14.5" f/5 Newtonian, stopped to f/6(12"). This is a 70 minutes exposure on hypered Kodak Tech Pan 2415 film.
