Open star cluster M41 in Canis Major, as photographed in September 1997
using BVR colors, at the Burrell Schmidt telescope of Case Western
Reserve University's Warner and Swasey Observatory located on Kitt Peak,
near Tucson, Arizona. The red giant stars stand out prominently in their
Infrared image of open cluster M41. This image was obtained with the 2MASS infrared telescopes. Colors represent different IR wavelengths.
