Date: Friday March 11, 2016 From: Dave Whittle Subject: Re: Messier Marathon attempt 2016 Had another unexpected attempt as the weather forecast changed last night, 10/11th march from North Wales U.K. Clear with 84 objects seen until the last hour when mist/fog rolled in and obscured anything from the horizon to 30 degress high in all directions while still clear overhead! M19 and M11 the last targets before the summner constellations became obscured. A frosty night with bad dew problems, after the sunrise the mist burnt off leaving blue skies!
