I decided to do a bit crazy Messier marathon this year because the weather forecast was great for several days from March 21 to March 25. The goal was to observe all objects sequentially by numbers, ie starting from Crab nebula, then M2, M3 and so on till M110. It took me six nights to complete (Mar 21 to Mar 26). During these nights I was able to do three regular marathons with scores of 108 objects (missing only M30 and M55) and one with 106 objects (missing also M69 and M70 due to low transparency). I was observing from several locations at 51N latitude close to Czech/Poland border starting from my backyard and finishing at an observing site in Izera Mountains DarkSky Park with SQM-L 21.74 MSA. All observing was using only binoculars (3D printed 2x54 widebinos, 12x50, 16x70, 18x70 and 48x125 binoculars) and from memory. I have only missed M30 and M55 which are not visible from my latitude in this time of the year. Report in Czech: http://udalosti.astronomy.cz/?p=10326 Viktor Trnka Czech Astronomical Society
