Akashmitra Association conducted the Messier Marathon of 2008 on 08-09 March, 
from Saybachi Wadi near Baramati, about 85 km south-east of Pune.

This was a new venue for us.  No particular section of the horizon was bad, 
but many felt that there was a slight haze all around.  The final scores were:

Kanad Mandke        83
Jayesh Mutha        72
Abha Vaishampayan   64
Tushar Purohit      56
Alok Deshpande      45

Dr.Vishwanath Jigjinni, Dr.Neelima Thatte and Kshitija Kelkar spotted ~60 
objects each.
