Dear Mr. Frommert and Ms. Kronberg,

Thank you for your tireless work (and, we're sure, probably all-too-often, 
thankless, as well) helping document Messier Marathon runs by amateur 
astronomers.

Starting at 5pm ET on the evening of March 20, 2021, and proceeding through 
8am ET on the morning of March 21, 2021, the following team of amateurs from 
CloudyNights EAA forum managed, in the middle of the pandemic, a COVID-safe 
online marathon through all 110 of the Messier catalog of deep space objects.

·         Frank Rossetti
·         Gary Shaw
·         Phil Wolski

We also managed to image each object using electronically-assisted astronomy 
(EAA) strategies (fast scopes, sensitive CMOS cameras, and live-stacking 
software). We kept a spreadsheet of our progress and worked together as a team 
throughout the night. Attached is the tracking sheet.

We respectfully submit our request to be considered a part of the incredibly 
faithful few who have tackled this all-night vigil. Thank you, again, for 
your part in tracking all this.
