SAC Observing: The 2018 All Arizona Messier Marathon Official Results, (I think...the Editor) By Rick Tejera, Marathon Coordinator Well, Ma Nature was back off her meds this year and decided that wind would be a valuable addition to this year's Messier Marathon. The threatening weather kept attendance down this year, but ten hearty observers braved the wind and early evening clouds, and turned in respectable results. I was hoping to be among them but a family emergency pre-empted those plans. So, in light of the lower than usual participation and challenges faced by those who did observe, I have decided to alter the usual recognition process. All who turned in results will receive plaques in recognition of their perseverance. I Hope to have the plaques by the May meeting, but it may be close, so if not, June the latest.
